Rootz Ltd, an online gambling company with headquarters in Malta, has officially launched operations in North America after securing a license in Ontario.
Just a few short weeks after launching in Germany, the company that is the owner of Wildz, Wheelz, Caxino, and the streaming brand Spinz is now operational in Canada. The Rootz proprietary platform is used by all four casino brands, and a single account structure is used across the board.
“Increasing our footprint within regulated markets is in line with a dynamic strategy that seeks to provide innovative gaming solutions to players around the world,” said Lasse Rantala, the chief executive of Rootz. “We are excited to bring these new products to the market and look forward to serving our customers.” “Ontario is an important market for us, and we are excited to take advantage of the opportunity presented by AGCO to become a licensed operator and to enter into an operational agreement with iGO,” the company stated.
As an operator, we place a high priority on the need for safe, secure, and fair play; the stringent compliance requirements within regulated markets such as Ontario and Germany will give our customers the peace of mind that they are enjoying play experiences with a licensed provider. “Full credit goes to our first-rate teams for the achievement of the Ontario licensure.”
Wildz, Rootz’s first casino, opened its virtual doors for business in July of 2019, and it holds a license and regulation from the Malta Gaming Authority.
Rootz obtained its German licence from the Sachsen-Anhalt state administration office in September 2022 and went live in November.
