Yeah that last game certainly is the one that stands out but that just feels like a really big price doesn’t it? I know Sheffield United are looking set for promotion to the Premier League and are playing three tiers up from the Red Dragons but Wrexham have been playing at an extremely high level. I would go as far to say that they would win promotion out of League 1 and could hold their own in the Championship even with the current squad. 11/2 just feels like a huge price and worth a flutter, which in this fourfold really does boost the price somewhat!
The other three games are certainly less out there as it were. I’ve already done individual match previews for two of them. Luton have won four straight on the road and if Rob Edwards puts out a good side, I like them to get past Grimsby in a tight tense encounter.
In the fourth meeting in just over a month between Fleetwood and Sheffield Wednesday I’ve gone with the draw. In the previous three matches the two sides have played out in recent weeks, only four goals have been scored, so I expect a low-scoring tight affair. The visitors are coming off of an important victory over Plymouth but have promotion firmly in their sights. Fleetwood have a free swing at this and I just feel this game goes beyond the allotted 90.
Lastly I went back and forth on the Burnley game but decided to stick with the home side to win straight up as I think they are going up, so won’t feel that desperation to rotate the squad. Vincent Kompany has done an excellent job at the Lancashire club and with a winnable fifth round tie on the cards should they progress, the Clarets could well be looking at a Quarter-Final berth.
