The Rams opened at –1 back in mid-May, but most of the buzz this offseason has been with Buffalo, who start the new campaign as +550 favorites to win Super Bowl LVII. The Bills do have one notable problem for Week 1: They need to sign a punter after releasing rookie Matt Araiza this past Saturday. Back-up QB Matt Barkley filled in during Buffalo’s preseason finale.
The defending champions are fifth on the Super Bowl odds list at +1200, despite bringing back most of their key players from 2021. There is some concern about QB Matthew Stafford, who dealt with elbow soreness last year and was given a very light workload during training camp. WR Odell Beckham Jr also remains a free agent after tearing his ACL during their Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, and is months away from returning to action.
